And boy, will you be getting something special! Here at Royal Roaches we have been breeding the close cousin to these stunning roaches, the aptly named "Orange Head" roach, for several years with great success.

Our experience with Orange heads has led us to pursue the growth of a large colony of these handsome devils, and we are really pleased to be able to offer them to you now.

The growth of the nymphs into adults is relatively quicker than Dubia, and I have found these to breed proficiently with loads of baby nymphs running around in no time at all. The nymphs themselves are gorgeous sporting yellowish dots along each side of their body, on a dark purple base. Once molted into adults a unique "Ivory" colored base is nicely contrasted by jet black markings on the pronotum...no mistaking these guys especially with that glossy sheen on translucent wings. You'll get 30 mixed size nymphs the size of a dime upwards to the size of a nickel and slightly larger....no tiny babies in this group!

We are super pleased to be offering a great new feeder roach for Tarantulas, Chameleons, Frogs, and other assorted "ambush" feeders....heck any critter for that matter!

The "Red Goblin" from Australia...(Paratemnopteryx couloniana) is a non-burrowing feeder that will climb in an arboreal setup, or scamper around the ground grabbing the attention of those waiting for a tasty morsel to pass 'em by. They are much more docile then the Red Runner making them easier for you to handle, yet sporting a little quirk wherein they jump like a cricket, they are guaranteed to grab the attention of the hunter. Although the adults have wings like Dubia, they do not fly. Adults are able to climb smooth surfaces, but nymphs can't and I have yet to have adults bum rush me to get out like say Hissers. Hissers require a petroleum jelly barrier, but these do not. You can rest assured they won't breed in your home, stink up your home, or eat you out of house and home. :-)

From a tiny nymph they grow fast into a subadult stage of right around an 1" or so making them perfect for slings on up to larger lizards with a bigger appetite. Easy to care for you can keep them like Dubia on egg crate, in a more natural bio active container with a substrate, or like us egg flats on a substrate. (they lay egg pods in the substrate) We mist them weekly as they appreciate some humidity but not dripping wet. We feed them our all natural roach chow, fish flake for protein, and jelly cups for carbohydrates.

You are going to get 100 mixed size nymphs, no babies.
